Mariposa Grove

Wow! Quite the hike today.
The four of us were introduced to the giants of the forest.  The distance we hiked wasn't that impressive, but the vertical ascent/descent and amazing trees made up for the lack of overall distance.  It was a good practice run for the next few days, although a day in the sun between 4000-7000 feet has given us all an appreciation for showers and soft seating in the cabin.
